Theater of Chinese shadows

You return home after an exhausting day to receive the new shoes and the new handbag of your woman ... two options are available to you:

• to go in firecracker
• to be creative

(knowing that both options are cumulative obviously :))

Step 1: Build the theater

Preparation of the cardboard to make the theater itself. Remove the edges and cut out the center to reveal a window.

Cut out a sheet (if possible transparent) and glue it around the cut out window.

Cut out a slot to get the characters through. Keep in mind that depending on the size of the window and the distance of the lamp it is possible not to use this slot.

We now have Chinese theater. Let your children decorate the little theater and meanwhile make the characters ...


Step 2: The characters

Draw the characters (a rabbit, a knight, a dragon, ...) and stick stems (for kebabs ... and as we do not eat meat so much to find a second life) on the back with tape.

Step 3: the time of the show

Place a lamp behind the cardboard and let the children's imagination do the rest ...

Show must go on!
